We define shadowable points for homeomorphism on metric spaces. In the compact case we will prove the following results: The set of shadowable points is invariant, possibly nonempty or noncompact. A homeomorphism has the pseudo-orbit tracing property if and only if every point is shadowable. The chain recurrent and nonwandering sets coincides when every chain recurrent point is shadowable. Minimal or distal homeomorphisms of compact connected metric spaces have no shadowable points. The space is totally disconnected at every shadowable point for distal homeomorphisms (and conversely for equicontinuous homeomorphisms). A distal homeomorphism has the pseudo-orbit tracing property if and only if the space is totally disconnected (this improves Theorem 4 in cite{mo}).

We give an introduction to buried points in Julia sets and a list of questions about buried points, written to encourage aficionados of topology and dynamics to work on these questions.
Given an iterated function system of affine dilations with fixed points the vertices of a regular polygon, we characterize which points in the limit set lie on the boundary of its convex hull.
Recently, the dynamical and spectral properties of square-free integers, visible lattice points and various generalisations have received increased attention. One reason is the connection of one-dimensional examples such as $mathscr B$-free numbers w ith Sarnaks conjecture on the `randomness of the Mobius function, another the explicit computability of correlation functions as well as eigenfunctions for these systems together with intrinsic ergodicity properties. Here, we summarise some of the results, with focus on spectral and dynamical aspects, and expand a little on the implications for mathematical diffraction theory.
We revisit the visible points of a lattice in Euclidean $n$-space together with their generalisations, the $k$th-power-free points of a lattice, and study the corresponding dynamical system that arises via the closure of the lattice translation orbit . Our analysis extends previous results obtained by Sarnak and by Cellarosi and Sinai for the special case of square-free integers and sheds new light on previous joint work with Peter Pleasants.
We confirm a conjecture of Jens Marklof regarding the equidistribution of certain sparse collections of points on expanding horospheres. These collections are obtained by intersecting the expanded horosphere with a certain manifold of complementary d imension and turns out to be of arithmetic nature. This equidistribution result is then used along the lines suggested by Marklof to give an analogue of a result of W. Schmidt regarding the distribution of shapes of lattices orthogonal to integer vectors.
