This paper is a natural continuation of the previous paper cite{TyuVo13} where generalized oscillator representations for Calogero Hamiltonians with potential $V(x)=alpha/x^2$, $alphageq-1/4$, were constructed. In this paper, we present generalized oscillator representations for all generalized Calogero Hamiltonians with potential $V(x)=g_{1}/x^2+g_{2}x^2$, $g_{1}geq-1/4$, $g_{2}>0$. These representations are generally highly nonunique, but there exists an optimum representation for each Hamiltonian, representation that explicitly determines the ground state and the ground-state energy. For generalized Calogero Hamiltonians with coupling constants $g_1<-1/4$ or $g_2<0$, generalized oscillator representations do not exist in agreement with the fact that the respective Hamiltonians are not bounded from below.

This paper is a natural continuation of the previous paper J.Phys. A: Math.Theor. 44 (2011) 425204, arXiv 0907.1736 [quant-ph] where oscillator representations for nonnegative Calogero Hamiltonians with coupling constant $alphageq-1/4$ were construct ed. Here, we present generalized oscillator representations for all Calogero Hamiltonians with $alphageq-1/4$.These representations are generally highly nonunique, but there exists an optimum representation for each Hamiltonian.
Eigenvalue problems for linear differential equations, such as time-independent Schrodinger equations, can be generalized to eigenvalue problems for nonlinear differential equations. In the nonlinear context a separatrix plays the role of an eigenfun ction and the initial conditions that give rise to the separatrix play the role of eigenvalues. Previously studied examples of nonlinear differential equations that possess discrete eigenvalue spectra are the first-order equation $y(x)=cos[pi xy(x)]$ and the first, second, and fourth Painleve transcendents. It is shown here that the differential equations for the first and second Painleve transcendents can be generalized to large classes of nonlinear differential equations, all of which have discrete eigenvalue spectra. The large-eigenvalue behavior is studied in detail, both analytically and numerically, and remarkable new features, such as hyperfine splitting of eigenvalues, are described quantitatively.
We present a variational approach which shows that the wave functions belonging to quantum systems in different potential landscapes, are pairwise linked to each other through a generalized continuity equation. This equation contains a source term pr oportional to the potential difference. In case the potential landscapes are related by a linear symmetry transformation in a finite domain of the embedding space, the derived continuity equation leads to generalized currents which are divergence free within this spatial domain. In a single spatial dimension these generalized currents are invariant. In contrast to the standard continuity equation, originating from the abelian $U(1)$-phase symmetry of the standard Lagrangian, the generalized continuity equations derived here, are based on a non-abelian $SU(2)$-transformation of a Super-Lagrangian. Our approach not only provides a rigorous theoretical framework to study quantum mechanical systems in potential landscapes possessing local symmetries, but it also reveals a general duality between quantum states corresponding to different Schr{o}dinger problems.

For the case of quantum loop algebras $mathrm U_q(mathcal L(mathfrak{sl}_{l + 1}))$ with $l = 1, 2$ we find the $ell$-weights and the corresponding $ell$-weight vectors for the representations obtained via Jimbos homomorphism, known also as evaluatio n representations. Then we find the $ell$-weights and the $ell$-weight vectors for the $q$-oscillator representations of Borel subalgebras of the same quantum loop algebras. This allows, in particular, to relate $q$-oscillator and prefundamental representations.
A Lagrangian formulation for the constrained search for the $N$-representable one-particle density matrix based on the McWeeny idempotency error minimization is proposed, which converges systematically to the ground state. A closed form of the canoni cal purification is derived for which no a posteriori adjustement on the trace of the density matrix is needed. The relationship with comparable methods are discussed, showing their possible generalization through the hole-particle duality. The appealing simplicity of this self-consistent recursion relation along with its low computational complexity could prove useful as an alternative to diagonalization in solving dense and sparse matrix eigenvalue problems.
