Evidence for the hadronic annihilation decay mode $B^{+} to D_s^{+}phi$ is found with greater than $3sigma$ significance. The branching fraction and CP asymmetry are measured to be mathcal{B}(B^{+} to D_s^{+}phi) &=& (1.87^{+1.25}_{-0.73}({rm stat}) pm 0.19 ({rm syst}) pm 0.32 ({rm norm})) times 10^{-6}, mathcal{A}_{CP}(B^{+} to D_s^{+}phi) &=& -0.01 pm 0.41 ({rm stat}) pm 0.03 ({rm syst}). The last uncertainty on $mathcal{B}(B^{+} to D_s^{+}phi)$ is from the branching fractions of the $B^+ to D_s^+ kern 0.2embar{kern -0.2em D}{}^0$ normalization mode and intermediate resonance decays. Upper limits are also set for the branching fractions of the related decay modes $B^{+}_{(c)} to D^{+}_{(s)} K^{*0}$, $B^{+}_{(c)} to D^{+}_{(s)} kern 0.2embar{kern -0.2em K}{}^{*0}$ and ${B_c^{+} to D^{+}_{s}phi}$, including the result ${mathcal{B}(B^+ to D^+ K^{*0})} < 1.8 times 10^{-6}$ at the 90% credibility level.

We search for annihilation decay modes of neutral $b$ mesons into pairs of charmless charged hadrons with the upgraded Collider Detector at the Fermilab Tevatron. Using a data sample corresponding to 6 fb$^{-1}$ of integrated luminosity, we obtain th e first evidence for the $B^0_s to pi^+pi^-$ decay, with a significance of $3.7sigma$, and a measured branching ratio $mathcal{B}(B^0_s to pi^+pi^-)= (0.57 pm 0.15 (stat) pm 0.10 (syst))times 10^{-6}$. A search for the $B^0 to K^+K^-$ mode in the same sample yields a significance of $2.0sigma$, and a central value estimate $mathcal{B}(B^0 to K^+K^-)= (0.23 pm 0.10 (stat) pm 0.10 (syst))times 10^{-6}$.
A search for the charmless $B^{0}_{s} to eta^{prime}phi$ decay is performed using $pp$ collision data collected by the LHCb experiment at centre-of-mass energies of $7$ and $8$ TeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 3 fb$^{-1}$. No signal is observed and upper limits on the $B^{0}_{s} to eta^{prime}phi$ branching fraction are set to $0.82times 10^{-6}$ at $90%$ and $1.01times 10^{-6}$ at $95%$ confidence level.
Using 586 $textrm{pb}^{-1}$ of $e^{+}e^{-}$ collision data acquired at $sqrt{s}=4.170$ GeV with the CLEO-c detector at the Cornell Electron Storage Ring, we report the first observation of $D_{s}^{*+} to D_{s}^{+} e^{+} e^{-}$ with a significance of $5.3 sigma$. The ratio of branching fractions $calB(D_{s}^{*+} to D_{s}^{+} e^{+} e^{-}) / calB(D_{s}^{*+} to D_{s}^{+} gamma)$ is measured to be $[ 0.72^{+0.15}_{-0.13} (textrm{stat}) pm 0.10 (textrm{syst})]%$, which is consistent with theoretical expectations.
A search for the $B^{0}to K^{+}K^{-}$ decay is performed using $pp$-collision data collected by LHCb. The data set corresponds to integrated luminosities of 1 and 2 fb$^{-1}$ at center-of-mass energies of 7 and 8 TeV, respectively. This decay is obse rved for the first time, with a significance of more than five standard deviations. The analysis also results in an improved measurement of the branching fraction for the $B_s^0to pi^+pi^-$ decay. The measured branching fractions are $BR(B^0to K^+K^-) = (7.80 pm 1.27 pm 0.81 pm 0.21) times 10^{-8}$ and $BR(B_s^0topi^+pi^-) = (6.91 pm 0.54 pm 0.63 pm 0.19 pm 0.40) times 10^{-7}$. The first uncertainty is statistical, the second is systematic, the third is due to the uncertainty on the $B^0to K^+pi^-$ branching fraction used as a normalization. For the $B_s^0$ mode, the fourth accounts for the uncertainty on the ratio of the probabilities for $b$ quarks to hadronize into $B_s^0$ and $B^0$ mesons.
Using decays to $phi$-meson pairs, the inclusive production of charmonium states in $b$-hadron decays is studied with $pp$ collision data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of $3.0fb^{-1}$, collected by the LHCb experiment at centre-of-mass en ergies of 7 and 8 TeV. Denoting by $B_Cequiv B(bto CX)times B(Ctophiphi)$ the inclusive branching fraction of a $b$ hadron to a charmonium state $C$ that decays into a pair of $phi$ mesons, ratios $R^{C1}_{C2}equiv B_{C1}/B_{C2}$ are determined as $R^{chi_{c0}}_{eta_c(1S)}=0.147pm0.023pm0.011$, $R^{chi_{c1}}_{eta_c (1S)}=0.073pm0.016pm0.006$, $R^{chi_{c2}}_{eta_c (1S)}=0.081pm0.013pm0.005$, $R^{chi_{c1}}_{chi_{c0}}=0.50pm0.11pm0.01$, $R^{chi_{c2}}_{chi_{c0}}=0.56pm0.10pm0.01$ and $R^{eta_c (2S)}_{eta_c(1S)}=0.040pm0.011pm0.004$. Here and below the first uncertainties are statistical and the second systematic. Upper limits at $90%$ confidence level for the inclusive production of $X(3872)$, $X(3915)$ and $chi_{c2}(2P)$ states are obtained as $R^{X(3872)}_{chi_{c1}}<0.34$, $R^{X(3915)}_{chi_{c0}}<0.12$ and $R^{chi_{c2}(2P)}_{chi_{c2}}<0.16$. Differential cross-sections as a function of transverse momentum are measured for the $eta_c(1S)$ and $chi_c$ states. The branching fraction of the decay $B_s^0rightarrowphiphiphi$ is measured for the first time, $B(B_s^0tophiphiphi)=(2.15pm0.54pm0.28pm0.21_{B})times 10^{-6}$. Here the third uncertainty is due to the branching fraction of the decay $B_s^0tophiphi$, which is used for normalization. No evidence for intermediate resonances is seen. A preferentially transverse $phi$ polarization is observed. The measurements allow the determination of the ratio of the branching fractions for the $eta_c(1S)$ decays to $phiphi$ and $pbar{p}$ as $B(eta_c(1S)tophiphi)/B(eta_c(1S)to pbar{p})=1.79pm0.14pm0.32$.
