We develop the theory of spin light of neutrino in matter ($SL u$) and include the effect of plasma influence on the emitted photon. We use the special technique based on exact solutions of particles wave equations in matter to perform all the relevant calculations, and track how the plasmon mass enters the process characteristics including the neutrino energy spectrum, $SL u$ rate and power. The new feature it induces is the existence of the process threshold for which we have found the exact expression and the dependence of the rate and power on this threshold condition. The $SL u$ spatial distribution accounting for the above effects has been also obtained. These results might be of interest in connection with the recently reported hints of ultra-high energy neutrinos $E = 1 div 10$ PeV observed by IceCube.

Exact solutions of the Dirac--Pauli equation for massive neutrino with anomalous magnetic moment interacting with dense matter and strong electromagnetic field are found. The complete system of neutrino wavefunctions, which show spin rotation propert ies are obtained and their possible applications are discussed.
The problem of neutrino spin rotation in dense matter and in strong electromagnetic fields is solved in accordance with the basic principles of quantum mechanics. We obtain a complete system of wave functions for a massive Dirac neutrino with an anom alous magnetic moment which are the eigenfunctions of the kinetic momentum operator and have the form of nonspreading wave packets. These wave functions enable one to consider the states of neutrino with rotating spin as pure quantum states and can be used for calculating probabilities of various processes with the neutrino in the framework of the Furry picture.
Assuming that at sufficiently high densities the constituent quarks become relevant degrees of freedom, we study within the framework of a chiral quark model the influence of s-wave $K^-$ condensation on the quark-antiquark condensates. We find that, in linear density approximation, the presence of a $K^-$ condensate quenches the $bar{u}u$ condensate, but that the $bar{d}d$ condensate remains unaffected up to the chiral order under consideration. We discuss the implication of the suppressed $bar{u}u$ condensate for flavor-dependent chiral symmetry restoration in dense matter
We study a simple extension of the Standard Model supplemented by an electroweak triplet scalar field to accommodate small neutrino masses by the type-II seesaw mechanism, while an additional singlet scalar field can play the role of cold dark matter (DM) in our Universe. This DM candidate is leptophilic for a wide range of model parameter space, and the lepton flux due to its annihilation carries information about the neutrino mass hierarchy. Using the recently released high precision data on positron fraction and flux from the AMS-02 experiment, we examine the DM interpretation of the observed positron excess in our model for two kinematically distinct scenarios with the DM and triplet scalar masses (a) non-degenerate ($m_{rm DM}gg m_{Delta}$), and (b) quasi-degenerate ($m_{rm DM} simeq m_Delta$). We find that a good fit to the AMS-02 data can be obtained in both cases (a) and (b) with a normal hierarchy of neutrino masses, while the inverted hierarchy case is somewhat disfavored. Although we require a larger boost factor for the normal hierarchy case, this is still consistent with the current upper limits derived from Fermi-LAT and IceCube data for case (a). Moreover, the absence of an excess anti-proton flux as suggested by PAMELA data sets an indirect upper limit on the DM-nucleon spin-independent elastic scattering cross section which is stronger than the existing DM direct detection bound from LUX in the AMS-02 preferred DM mass range.
With the motivation of simultaneously explaining dark matter and neutrino masses, mixing angles, we have invoked the Type-II seesaw model extended by an extra $SU(2)$ doublet $Phi$. Moreover, we have imposed a $mathbb{Z}_2$ parity on $Phi$ which rema ins unbroken as the vacuum expectation value of $Phi$ is zero. Consequently, the lightest neutral component of $Phi$ becomes naturally stable and can be a viable dark matter candidate. On the other hand, light Majorana masses for neutrinos have been generated following usual Type-II seesaw mechanism. Further in this framework, for the first time, we have derived the full set of vacuum stability and unitarity conditions, which must be satisfied to obtain a stable vacuum as well as to preserve the unitarity of the model respectively. Thereafter, we have performed extensive phenomenological studies of both dark matter and neutrino sectors considering all possible theoretical and current experimental constraints. Finally, we have also discussed a qualitative collider signatures of dark matter and associated odd particles at the 13 TeV Large Hadron Collider.
