In previous work, we have established that for any 2-to-2 process in MSSM, only the helicity conserving (HC) amplitudes survive asymptotically. Studying a large number of such processes, at the 1loop Electroweak (EW) order, it is now found that their high energy HC amplitudes are determined by just three forms: a log-squared function of the ratio of two of the (s,t,u) variables, to which a pi^2 is added; and two Sudakov-like ln- and ln^2-terms accompanied by respective mass-dependent constants. Apart from an additional residual constant, all high energy HC amplitudes, may be expressed as linear combinations of the above three forms, with coefficients being rational functions of the $(s,t,u)$ variables. We call this fact supersimplicity. Applying to the $ugto dW$ amplitudes, for which the complete 1loop expressions are available, we find that supersimplicity may be a very good approximation at LHC energies, provided the SUSY scale is not too high. SM processes are also discussed, and their differences are explored.

We present a complete 1-loop study of the electroweak corrections to the process $ugto dW^+$ in MSSM and SM. The occurrence of a number of remarkable properties in the behavior of the helicity amplitudes at high energies is stressed, and the crucia l role of the virtual SUSY contributions in establishing them, is emphasized. The approach to asymptopia of these amplitudes is discussed, comparing the effects of the logarithmic and constant contributions to the mass suppressed ones, which are relevant at lower energies. Applying crossing to $ugto d W^+$, we obtain all subprocesses needed for the 1-loop electroweak corrections to $W^pm$-production at LHC. The SUSY model dependence of such a production is then studied, and illustrations are given for the transverse $W^{pm}$ momentum distribution, as well as the angular distribution in the subprocess center of mass.
We study how the property of asymptotic helicity conservation (HCns), expected for any 2-to-2 process in the minimal supersymmetric model (MSSM), is realized in the processes $gg to gammagamma, gamma Z,ZZ,W^+W^-$, at the 1loop electroweak order and ve ry high energies. The violation of this property for the same process in the standard model (SM), is also shown. This strengthens the claim that HCns is specific to the renormalizable SUSY model, and not generally valid in SM. HCns strongly reduces the number of non-vanishing 2-to-2 amplitudes at asymptotic energies in MSSM. Consequences at LHC and higher energy colliders are identified.
Supersymmetry, a new symmetry that relates bosons and fermions in particle physics, still escapes observation. Search for supersymmetry is one of the main aims of the Large Hadron Collider. The other possible manifestation of supersymmetry is the Dar k Matter in the Universe. The present lectures contain a brief introduction to supersymmetry in particle physics. The main notions of supersymmetry are introduced. The supersymmetric extension of the Standard Model -- the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model -- is considered in more detail. Phenomenological features of the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model as well as possible experimental signatures of supersymmetry at the Large Hadron Collider are described. The present limits on supersymmetric particles are presented and the allowed region of parameter space of the MSSM is shown.
We describe a kinematic method which is capable of determining the overall mass scale in SUSY-like events at a hadron collider with two missing (dark matter) particles. We focus on the kinematic topology in which a pair of identical particles is prod uced with each decaying to two leptons and an invisible particle (schematically, $ppto YY+jets$ followed by each $Y$ decaying via $Yto ell Xto ellellN$ where $N$ is invisible). This topology arises in many SUSY processes such as squark and gluino production and decay, not to mention $tanti t$ di-lepton decays. In the example where the final state leptons are all muons, our errors on the masses of the particles $Y$, $X$ and $N$ in the decay chain range from 4 GeV for 2000 events after cuts to 13 GeV for 400 events after cuts. Errors for mass differences are much smaller. Our ability to determine masses comes from considering all the kinematic information in the event, including the missing momentum, in conjunction with the quadratic constraints that arise from the $Y$, $X$ and $N$ mass-shell conditions. Realistic missing momentum and lepton momenta uncertainties are included in the analysis.
We examine the top squark (stop) and gluino reach of the proposed 33 TeV energy upgrade of the Large Hadron Collider (LHC33) in the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (MSSM) with light higgsinos and relatively heavy electroweak gauginos. In our an alysis, we assume that stops decay to higgsinos via ${tilde t}_1 to t {tilde{Z}}_1$, $tilde{t}_1 to ttilde{Z}_2$ and $tilde{t}$$_1 to btilde{W}_1$ with branching fractions in the ratio 1:1:2 (expected if the decay occurs dominantly via the superpotential Yukawa coupling) while gluinos decay via $tilde{g}to ttilde{t}_1$ or via three-body decays to third generation quarks plus higgsinos. These decay patterns are motivated by models of natural supersymmetry where higgsinos are expected to be close in mass to $m_Z$, but gluinos may be as heavy as $5 - 6$ TeV and stops may have masses up to $sim 3 $ TeV. We devise cuts to optimize the signals from stop and gluino pair production at LHC33. We find that experiments at LHC33 should be able to discover stops with $> 5sigma$ significance if $m_{tilde{t}_1} < 2.3 (2.8) [3.2]$ TeV for an integrated luminosity of 0.3 (1)[3] ab$^{-1}$. The corresponding reach for gluinos extends to 5 (5.5) [6] TeV. These results imply that experiments at LHC33 should be able to discover at least one of the stop or gluino pair signals even with an integrated luminosity of 0.3 ab$^{-1}$ for natural SUSY models with no worse than 3% electroweak fine-tuning, and quite likely both gluinos and stops for an integrated luminosity of 3 ab$^{-1}$.
