In the recently proposed dark left-right gauge model of particle interactions, the left-handed fermion doublet $( u,e)_L$ is connected to its right-handed counterpart $(n,e)_R$ through a scalar bidoublet, but $ u_L$ couples to $n_R$ only through $phi_1^0$ which has no vacuum expectation value. The usual R parity, i.e. $R = (-)^{3B+L+2j}$, can be defined for this nonsupersymmetric model so that both $n$ and $Phi_1$ are odd together with $W_R^pm$. The lightest $n$ is thus a viable dark-matter candidate (scotino). Here we explore the phenomenology associated with the $SU(2)_R$ gauge group of this model, which allows it to appear at the TeV energy scale. The exciting possibility of $Z to 8$ charged leptons is discussed.

We study the left-right asymmetric model based on SU(3)_C otimes SU(2)_L otimes SU(3)_R otimes U(1)_X gauge group, which improves the theoretical and phenomenological aspects of the known left-right symmetric model. This new gauge symmetry yields tha t the fermion generation number is three, and the tree-level flavor-changing neutral currents arise in both gauge and scalar sectors. Also, it can provide the observed neutrino masses as well as dark matter automatically. Further, we investigate the mass spectrum of the gauge and scalar fields. All the gauge interactions of the fermions and scalars are derived. We examine the tree-level contributions of the new neutral vector, Z_R, and new neutral scalar, H_2, to flavor-violating neutral meson mixings, say K-bar{K}, B_d-bar{B}_d, and B_s-bar{B}_s, which strongly constrain the new physics scale as well as the elements of the right-handed quark mixing matrices. The bounds for the new physics scale are in agreement with those coming from the rho-parameter as well as the mixing parameters between W, Z bosons and new gauge bosons.
In the $SU(6) times SU(2)_R$ string-inspired model, we evolve the couplings and the masses down from the string scale $M_S$ using the renormalization group equations and minimize the effective potential. This model has the flavor symmetry including t he binary dihedral group $tilde{D}_4$. We show that the scalar mass squared of the gauge non-singlet matter field possibly goes negative slightly below the string scale. As a consequence, the precocious radiative breaking of the gauge symmetry down to the standard model gauge group can occur. In the present model, the large Yukawa coupling which plays an important role in the symmetry breaking is identical with the colored Higgs coupling related to the longevity of the proton.
We study the path from the string scale physics to the low-energy physics in the $SU(6) times SU(2)_R$ string-inspired model with the flavor symmetry ${bf Z}_M times {bf Z}_N times tilde{D}_4$. The flavor symmetry controls the mass spectra of heavy p articles as well as those of quarks and leptons in the intermediate energy region ranging from the string scale ($sim 10^{18} {rm GeV}$) to the electroweak scale. In this paper we examine the mass spectra of heavy particles in detail in our model. The renormalization group evolution of the gauge couplings is studied up to two-loop order. A consistent solution of the gauge unification around the string scale is found by adjusting the spectra of the anti-generation matter fields.
Motivated by the ongoing searches for new physics at the LHC, we explore the low energy consequences of a D-brane inspired $ SU(4)_Ctimes SU(2)_L times SU(2)_R$ (4-2-2) model. The Higgs sector consists of an $SU(4)$ adjoint, a pair $H+bar H$ in $(4,1 ,2)+(bar 4,1,2)$, and a bidoublet field in $h(1,2,2)$. With the $SU(4)$ adjoint the symmetry breaks to a left-right symmetric $SU(3)_Ctimes U(1)_{B-L} times SU(2)_L times SU(2)_R$ model. A missing partner mechanism protects the $SU(2)_R$ Higgs doublets in $H,bar H$, which subsequently break the symmetry to the Standard Model at a few TeV scale. An inverse seesaw mechanism generates masses for the observed neutrinos and also yields a sterile neutrino which can play the r^ole of dark matter if its mass lies in the keV range. Other phenomenological implications including proton decay are briefly discussed.
We present a minimal left-right symmetric flavor model and analyze the predictions for the neutrino sector. In this scenario, the Yukawa sector is shaped by the dihedral $D_4$ symmetry which leads to correlations for the neutrino mixing parameters. W e end up with four possible solutions within this model. We further analyzed the impact of the upcoming long-baseline neutrino oscillation experiment DUNE. Due to its high sensitivity, DUNE will be able to rule out two of the solutions. Finally, the prediction for the neutrinoless double beta decay for the model has also been examined.
