We make an estimation of the mass of the universe by considering the behavior of a very special test particle when described both by using the Newtonian mechanics as well through a scalar field theory of the Yukawa kind. Naturally, Hubbles law is also taken in account.

The anomalous magnetic moment of the muon is an important observable that tests radiative corrections of all three observed local gauge forces: electromagnetic, weak and strong interactions. High precision measurements reveal some discrepancy with th e most accurate theoretical evaluations of the anomalous magnetic moment. We show in this note that the UV finite theory cannot resolve this discrepancy. We believe that more reliable estimate of the nonperturbative hadronic contribution and the new measurements can resolve the problem.
Graphical representations of classical Friedmanns models are often misleading when one considers the age of the universe. Most textbooks disregard conceptual differences in the representations, as far as ages are concerned. We discuss the details of the scale-factor versus time function for Friedmanns solutions in the time range that includes the ages of model universes.
Estimators for mutual information are typically biased. However, in the case of the Kozachenko-Leonenko estimator for metric spaces, a type of nearest neighbour estimator, it is possible to calculate the bias explicitly.
The neutrino oscillations probabilities depend on mass squared differences; in the case of 3-neutrino mixing, there are two independent differences, which have been measured experimentally. In order to calculate the absolute masses of neutrinos, we h ave conjectured a third relation, in the form of a sum of squared masses. The calculated masses look plausible and are in good agreement with the upper bounds coming from astrophysics.
