We study the Lipschitz structures on the geodesic compactification of a regular tree, that are preserved by the automorphism group. They are shown to be similar to the compactifications introduced by William Floyd, and a complete description is given.

A quasiconformal tree is a doubling metric tree in which the diameter of each arc is bounded above by a fixed multiple of the distance between its endpoints. In this paper we show that every quasiconformal tree bi-Lipschitz embeds in some Euclidean s pace, with the ambient dimension and the bi-Lipschitz constant depending only on the doubling and bounded turning constants of the tree. This answers Question 1.6 in cite{DV} (arXiv:2007.12297).
In this article we start a systematic study of the bi-Lipschitz geometry of lamplighter graphs. We prove that lamplighter graphs over trees bi-Lipschitzly embed into Hamming cubes with distortion at most~$6$. It follows that lamplighter graphs over c ountable trees bi-Lipschitzly embed into $ell_1$. We study the metric behaviour of the operation of taking the lamplighter graph over the vertex-coalescence of two graphs. Based on this analysis, we provide metric characterizations of superreflexivity in terms of lamplighter graphs over star graphs or rose graphs. Finally, we show that the presence of a clique in a graph implies the presence of a Hamming cube in the lamplighter graph over it. An application is a characterization in terms of a sequence of graphs with uniformly bounded degree of the notion of trivial Bourgain-Milman-Wolfson type for arbitrary metric spaces, similar to Ostrovskiis characterization previously obtained in cite{ostrovskii:11}.
We study the behavior of Lipschitz functions on intrinsic $C^1$ submanifolds of Heisenberg groups: our main result is their almost everywhere tangential Pansu differentiability. We also provide two applications: a Lusin-type approximation of Lipschit z functions on $HH$-rectifiable sets, and a coarea formula on $HH$-rectifiable sets that completes the program started in~cite{JNGV}.
In this paper we provide several emph{metric universality} results. We exhibit for certain classes $cC$ of metric spaces, families of metric spaces $(M_i, d_i)_{iin I}$ which have the property that a metric space $(X,d_X)$ in $cC$ is coarsely, resp. Lipschitzly, universal for all spaces in $cC$ if the collection of spaces $(M_i,d_i)_{iin I}$ equi-coarsely, respectively equi-Lipschitzly, embeds into $(X,d_X)$. Such families are built as certain Schreier-type metric subsets of $co$. We deduce a metric analog to Bourgains theorem, which generalized Szlenks theorem, and prove that a space which is coarsely universal for all separable reflexive asymptotic-$c_0$ Banach spaces is coarsely universal for all separable metric spaces. One of our coarse universality results is valid under Martins Axiom and the negation of the Continuum Hypothesis. We discuss the strength of the universality statements that can be obtained without these additional set theoretic assumptions. In the second part of the paper, we study universality properties of Kaltons interlacing graphs. In particular, we prove that every finite metric space embeds almost isometrically in some interlacing graph of large enough diameter.
Among other results, we prove the following theorem about Steiner minimal trees in $d$-dimensional Euclidean space: if two finite sets in $mathbb{R}^d$ have unique and combinatorially equivalent Steiner minimal trees, then there is a homotopy between the two sets that maintains the uniqueness and the combinatorial structure of the Steiner minimal tree throughout the homotopy.
