Correlated $Lambda d$ pairs emitted after the absorption of negative kaons at rest $K^{-}_{stop}Ato Lambda d A$ in light nuclei $^6Li$ and $^{12}C$ are studied. $Lambda$-hyperons and deuterons are found to be preferentially emitted in opposite directions. The $Lambda d$ invariant mass spectrum of $^6Li$ shows a bump whose mass is 3251$pm$6 MeV/c$^2$. The bump mass (binding energy), width and yield are reported. We have observed an intense high-energy component in an inclusive $^4$He(stopped $K^-$, $d$) spectrum. For back-to-back $Lambda d$ pairs a prominent event cluster has been found just below the $m_{^4textrm{He}}+m_{K^-}-m_{n}$ mass threshold in the $L ambda d$ invariant mass spectrum of $Lambda dn$ events, which is evidence for a three-nucleon absorption process of $K^-$ in $^4$He. In addition, an appreciable strength is revealed below $sim$3220 MeV/$c^2$. Well separated $Sigma^0 dn$ events show a peak similar to the case of $Lambda dn$.

The production of neutron rich $Lambda$-hypernuclei via the ($K^-_stop$,$pi^+$) reaction has been studied using data collected with the FINUDA spectrometer at the DA$Phi$NE $phi$-factory (LNF). The analysis of the inclusive $pi^+$ momentum spectra is presented and an upper limit for the production of $^6_Lambda$H and $^7_Lambda$H from $^6$Li and $^7$Li, is assessed for the first time.

Novel data from the $K^{-}_{stop}A$ absorption reaction in light nuclei $^{6,7}$Li and $^{9}$Be are presented. The study aimed at finding $Lambda t$ correlations. Regardless of $A$, the $Lambda t$ pairs are preferentially emitted in opposite directio ns. Reaction modeling predominantly assigns to the $K^-_{stop}AtoLambda t(N)A$ direct reactions the emission of the $Lambda t$ pairs whose yield is found to range from $10^{-3}$ to $10^{-4}$$/K^-_{stop}$. The experiment was performed with the FINUDA spectrometer at DA$Phi$NE (LNF).

We have investigated correlations of coincident $Lambda N$ pairs from the stopped $K^-$ reaction on ${}^4$He, and clearly observed $Lambda p$ and $Lambda n$ branches of the two-nucleon absorption process in the $Lambda N$ invariant mass spectra. In a ddition, non-mesonic reaction channels, which indicate possible exotic signals for the formation of strange multibaryon states, have been identified.
For the first time, the reaction gamma d -> Lambda n K+ has been analyzed in order to search for the exotic pentaquark baryon Theta+(1540). The data were taken at Jefferson Lab, using the Hall-B tagged-photon beam of energy between 0.8 and 3.6 GeV an d the CEBAF Large Acceptance Spectrometer (CLAS). No statistically significant structures were observed in the nK+ invariant mass distribution. The upper limit on the gamma d -> Lambda Theta+ integrated cross section has been calculated and found to be between 5 and 25 nb, depending on the production model assumed. The upper limit on the differential cross section is also reported.
