This research aimed to identify the extent of practicing the
necessary teaching competencies to the social studies teachers for
sixth elementary grade, and preparing a list of the most important of
these competencies To achieve the research's objectives, the
researcher prepared a list which contains the most important
competencies which are necessary for social studies teachers in
sixth elementary grade, and extracted a questionnaire from it
forwarded to teachers to measure the extent of practicing the
competencies.
